Planning Resolution secured planning permission for the demolition and redevelopment of former 300 Sqm stone farmhouse and redevelopment with new 760s Sqm 5 bedroom replacement ‘Georgian’ dwelling with landscaped grounds overlooking the Blackdown Hills
Following detailed structural and costing arguments, the Council eventually accepted that the existing ‘traditional’ farmhouse could be replaced. Whilst the Council and Blackdown Hills AONB Advisory Group and Parish were keen to see a much smaller traditional hillside building, design discussions and landscape visual impact arguments prevailed – leaving the client with his preferred ‘grand’ house in the countryside.
