Planning Resolution submitted a planning application for mixed-use development on a 8.4ha site on the ‘Golden Mile’ next to the elevated section of the M4 at Chiswick and the new stadium for Brentford FC.

The proposed development designed by the late Will Alsop at All Design included 550 new homes, a new bus depot, office space and business pods, café and a raised publicly accessible park.

The project involved 3 exciting towers up to 20 storeys in height on top of a podium that housed a bus depot.

The complex application involved extensive discussion with the London Borough of Hounslow, TfL and the GLA, and Historic England in regard to sensitive townscape views from the Kew Gardens UNESCO World Heritage Site and numerous Conservation Areas.
