Planning permission has been secured for five detached houses on a greenfield site, located south of Haywards Heath.

A multi-stage approach was necessary – first securing permission for two dwellings and then then securing permission for five dwelling in 2021.

We advised on the planning strategy, based on arguing for the delivery of new housing to help meet the Council’s 5-year housing supply deficit.

The scheme has since been enhanced, via S.73 amendments, to maximise the internal areas – adding a further 750ft² per dwelling in the roof spaces.
