Planning Resolution secured planning permission in 2019 for the erection of a dramatic garden pavilion to house a swimming pool and gymnasium.

The site is located within the Westmead Conservation Area.

The host property had already been substantially extended, so we advised on a strategy to use the remaining permitted development rights to design a large detached garden building to establish a ‘fallback’ position in planning terms. Following the approval of a certificate of lawfulness for said garden building, a full planning application was then submitted for a near identical garden building, but now including a glass link extension to connect the house and pool.
