L’Oscar
Camden, London
Architect: EPR Architects
The project involved the sensitive and complex change of use of the Grade II* former Baptist Church at Southampton Row, which was on the Historic England ‘At Risk’ Register.
Using viability and heritage arguments we successfully managed to maximise the buildings potential securing an additional 4 storeys to the roof and provide accommodation within spectacular historic rooms, integrating the beautiful old historic fabric with the new.
Planning Resolution managed to secure extensive F&B facilities that have direct access and frontage to the street as ‘ancillary’ hotel use, which is of considerable value to the hotel.
Following completion of the hotel, the building was removed from the Historic England ‘At Risk’ Register.
Winner of Europe’s Leading New Boutique Hotel 2019 World Travel Award
“Planning Resolution has been instrumental in getting planning and listed building consent prior to the opening of L’oscar London. A professional and efficient team we would have no hesitation to work with again in the future”
